The creator of this site is an experienced online Lord of The Rings Role Player, primarily at the popular site known as
The BarrowDowns. He has also owned several RPGs, and his first, The Road to Erebor, was a huge success. Himaran was soon inspired to write a backstory, which has evolved into a growing series. This is contributed to by his other RPG's on the Downs as well as exerpts from a constant game; The Green Dragon.

Few of these stories were written by me. I concieved, edited, and wrote a great deal of them, but I had a host of writers helping me; the Role Players on the Downs. I would like to thank them for aiding me in creating this marvelous tale.
Some writers were particularly helpful and prominent in my two games regarding Bali. We all became good friends, and some started their own rpgs which they (and myself) played in. Some have left the Downs, but most remain; the next generation of great writers on the best Lord of the Rings site in existence.
